Though he briefly entered the professional world at Ethiopian Airlines, cinema’s siren call proved impossible to resist. In 2013, Mr. Henock made his starring debut in the breakout romantic drama “Nuneyat,” launching an acting career that has since spanned acclaimed work in numerous feature films and television projects.
Around 8 years ago, Yafet launched his own production company, Eskis Film Production PLC. This venture intertwined his passions for performing with producing, providing a nest for Ethiopian stories and emerging filmmakers’ dreams to take flight. He produced his first feature film under his company, Taza, which has acclaimed about 10 awards including Best movie of the year in 2010 E.C. It was also a Semi-finalist at the Los Angeles CinFest. Besides his well renowned feature film, he went on producing Series movies such as ‘Yebir Sem’, ‘Moged’ and ‘Mezez’. Which were all broadcasted on Dstv.
